Living, Loving and Saving Money in Lake County IL: Sometimes Simple is Just Too Simple

I am relatively new to social media and blogging. The more experienced would refer to me as a newbie.  Mostly, I want my Blog to not only be about homes currently on the market in Lake county, IL. I want it to be about the area, local events, local businesses and just plain old why living in Lake County is the best.  Also how to you can simplify your life and save some money.

 The goal of my local blog is to become the respected (and read often) expert on this area for all things real estate, whether you are planing to move now, in the next ten years or just needs to know what your home is worth. Or maybe you are just curious what the neighbors house is selling for.

So why would you care that I was channel surfing the other night? 

Let me explain. My Blog is a work in progress and I needed a break from thinking about it, so when I ran across this skit from Mad TV. It hit me, why not keep it simple, some would refer to it as the KISS principal. (keep it simple stup..,, I  much prefer the word silly instead of the other word commonly used). I found the video on YouTube and want to share it with you.  While the video is about weight loss, it inspired me to come up with one my categories for my blog.  I hope you enjoy it.

I still laugh even seeing it again.  My new category will be on  Spend less, Save more.  I am also trying to adopt that in more personal life. (Also trying the Eat Less, Move More).

I sure would love suggestions of  what you would like to know more about.
