"I've seen many opportunities over the years to be involved in baseball projects, but this one is really special. The location, the people involved, and the chance to offer families in Zion and the surrounding communities a quaint and affordable setting for minor league baseball means everything. Like that unforgettable movie line says, ‘This field, this game, is a part of our past. It reminds us of all that once was good, and what could be again.’ Play Ball!”

Mayor Lane Harrison of Zions Says, "In the movie Bull Durham, you might recall Kevin Costner's character (Crash Davis) talking about his desire to "Get To The Show", which is baseball talk for getting called up to the big leagues. As far as we're concerned, Kevin Costner is as Big League as it gets, and we're very excited that he's bringing "The Show" to our beautiful little city, Zion, Illinois, for all to enjoy.
